Personally, I always liked the thimble. Monopoly unveils new game pieces.

Here’s to the longest game ever! I grew up playing board games with both of my siblings, so I can’t help but feel a bit nostalgic about how I remember playing the never-ending yet classic game. The three of us would fall into our Monopoly board game roles: I was the banker, my oldest brother was always distracted and my other brother seemed to be the only one who understood how to build houses and hotels on his properties.

Monopoly unveils new game pieces for a few of the old one’s. Check out what CBS had to say about the new Monopoly pieces.

all I see is red pen!

doing some editing the old-fashioned way first – printed pages completed first, found two red pens (in case one runs out of ink) and am toughing through it. Anyone have any other advice? Thus far, I wish that I had printed it out in a larger font. I will have to find some music to listen to that is not very distracting.

Healing: Living in “writer’s block” means I have to draw when forced to break from writing.

Promise to any of you readers, blog followers or supportive friends: I won’t be posting that much of my artwork. However, I would like to mention how supportive my husband has been through all of this. He knows of my previous anger issues, so here’s a couple pieces I drew with a fist in the air.

Better a fist on paper than to have mine go crashing through a wall or a window.

Forced to make analogies again…ugh.

I have had to resort to making analogies a few times over the last 4-5 years that I have been putting this original work of mine together. Lucky for me I didn’t have to make it up on the fly-already had it, handwritten on one of my hand written thesaurus cheat sheets.

SO…all I can do is vent now. Vent about what I did during those times when writing was not possible. Here’s one of a handful of sketches I completed during the five year span it took me to compile my original piece of work. Oh how I do hate making analogies for myself.

Shuffling through it again…No “writer’s block” here. Read, Re-read, Edit & Organize

I am always in need of finding my focus – Looks like my writing plan started with some Alice in Chains “Down in a Hole” this weekend. Now all I need to do is set aside the time to read, reread, edit and organize. I don’t like to shuffle music.

And one day later, still haven’t had a chance to block some time for myself. Yesterday it was Alice in Chains and today it’s The Shins, “Shuts too Narrow”. Will find the time to write today.
